Fort McHenry is located in Baltimore, Maryland on the Patapsco River. This historical site is most famous for its involvement in the War of 1812 and being the birth place of the “Star Spangled Banner”. This website is dedicated to the research and historical analysis of the fort’s involvement in American history during the Early American Republic.
